We have two sides, and spoiler alert: we’re going to do battle. But instead of a battle with spears, this will be a Battle of Cheers.
Whoops! Who left a Starbucks cup here? Not supposed to be here! Oh well, oh well…. We’ll figure that out later.
I’m…I’m going to call on each of your Alliances in turn. When I do, you need to make…I hate to ask, I know how hard it is, but you need to make the most noise you can. The side that cheers the loudest wins! Okay? Ready?

In the walls of ice, in the thrones of iron, we see a mirror for our times.
We recognize our own world, where too many live for their tribe alone. Where too often, we listen only to those who think, look, and believe as we do.
Where the game seems rigged against open and free exploration. We hear too few dissenting voices, and we consider too few conflicting views. But remember: None of this is inevitable.
We can glorify our own tribe to the exclusion of others. We can build up our walls, and we can cast down those who are different.
Or we can better use the strength in our hearts and the power in our hands.
Our many identities and beliefs: We make these our threads. Our perse backgrounds and goals: They become our loom.
From this world of differences, we can weave a tapestry of communities.
Weaving…yeah…weaving is hard work, especially when we interlace many into one. Our identities may clash. Our beliefs perge. We disagree over where we want to go. We argue about the best way to get there.
But when – together – we embrace the challenge, the cloth of human understanding grows more resilient. We craft something stronger by far…by far than iron thrones and walls of ice.

尊敬的各位領(lǐng)導(dǎo),老師們:
大家好!今天很榮幸能在這里就六年級(jí)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)工作與大家進(jìn)行探究交流。我是第一次任教小學(xué)六年級(jí)的英語(yǔ),沒(méi)有太多的經(jīng)驗(yàn),只有自己在教學(xué)過(guò)程中的一些想法,做法及取得的一些心得體會(huì),希望和大家交流分享。
我把這個(gè)學(xué)期的復(fù)習(xí)工作分為兩輪進(jìn)行,第一輪為基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)復(fù)習(xí),在這一輪中,一要過(guò)好單詞關(guān),在單詞的復(fù)習(xí)中,按詞性歸類復(fù)習(xí)單詞,按詞匯表復(fù)習(xí)單詞,并把四會(huì)單詞整理打印出來(lái),要求學(xué)生能默寫(xiě)。二要過(guò)好詞組關(guān)。三要過(guò)好句子關(guān)。重點(diǎn)句型也整理并打印出來(lái),要求學(xué)生能熟練背誦并靈活應(yīng)用。四要過(guò)好閱讀關(guān)。把單詞,詞組,句子和短文作為一個(gè)有機(jī)整體,在復(fù)習(xí)過(guò)程中將它們緊密結(jié)合起來(lái),合理安排教學(xué)內(nèi)容,提高學(xué)生整體運(yùn)用知識(shí)的能力。第二輪復(fù)習(xí)是后期進(jìn)行模擬訓(xùn)練,了解學(xué)生的.復(fù)習(xí)狀況,做到有的放矢,查漏補(bǔ)缺,讓學(xué)生熟悉考試題型,做到得心應(yīng)手。
在復(fù)習(xí)的過(guò)程中,我特別注意以下幾點(diǎn):
1.重視四會(huì)單詞的默寫(xiě),平時(shí)讓學(xué)生多背多默,教給學(xué)生一些簡(jiǎn)單有效的單詞記憶方法,并讓學(xué)生自己摸索發(fā)現(xiàn)單詞記憶的巧妙方法。
2.閱讀是學(xué)生的弱項(xiàng),多數(shù)學(xué)生有一個(gè)通病,看到短文就放棄閱讀,做題都是生搬硬套,瞎蒙。所以在復(fù)習(xí)過(guò)程中我特別加強(qiáng)這一塊的指導(dǎo)與練習(xí)。在平時(shí)的閱讀教學(xué)中,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生多讀多思考,教給學(xué)生一定的閱讀方法和技巧,讓多數(shù)學(xué)生能做到獨(dú)立完成閱讀類練習(xí)。
3. 注重復(fù)習(xí)過(guò)程中的趣味性,根據(jù)教學(xué)內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)一些趣味小游戲和活動(dòng),充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性,盡量減少學(xué)生在復(fù)習(xí)過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)的倦怠感,使學(xué)生在愉快復(fù)習(xí)中得到進(jìn)步與提高。
4. 重視培優(yōu)補(bǔ)差。在我所任教的班級(jí)中,兩極分化明顯,優(yōu)生能輕松掌握所學(xué)內(nèi)容,靈活應(yīng)用所學(xué)知識(shí)。少數(shù)學(xué)困生不能正確規(guī)范地書(shū)寫(xiě)單詞,不能正確背誦默寫(xiě)26個(gè)大小寫(xiě)字母。所以在復(fù)習(xí)過(guò)程中,我進(jìn)行了分層教學(xué),對(duì)基礎(chǔ)差的學(xué)生重點(diǎn)放在字母表,四會(huì)單詞和重點(diǎn)句型的熟讀和識(shí)記上,并多花時(shí)間和心思指導(dǎo)他們的書(shū)寫(xiě),爭(zhēng)取讓學(xué)生過(guò)書(shū)寫(xiě)關(guān)。對(duì)一部分優(yōu)生重點(diǎn)放在能力的培養(yǎng)和知識(shí)的綜合運(yùn)用上。但是對(duì)于學(xué)困生的教學(xué),是我在教學(xué)工作中的面臨的一大困難。想了不少方法,但由于任教的班級(jí)多,關(guān)注度有限,往往顧此失彼,收效甚微。所以更好地培優(yōu)輔差是我今后工作中努力的方向。
