Dear Professor,
I am greatly grateful that you can spare some time to read my letter. I am a Chinese undergraduate from XX, which is one of the top 10 universities in China, and I will graduate in 20xx. After that, I want to continue my education by pursuing a master degree in France. I am now in the department of XX.
My primary interest is in international commerce, and I notice that ESSEC is on top of that field, so I decide to exert myself to get in. Your research in “cross-cultural relationship marketing”, especially your publications on business of China as well as Southeast Asia, are of particular interest to me. And I would like to deal with business between Europe and China in my career. That's why I seek entry to your theme.
During my university years, I am used to working in a team environment. For example, I was administrative vice minister in Student Union, and organized and schemed activities along with competitions in university. For my excellent job, I gained the scholarship for entertainment and physical education activities. After passing College English Tests 4&;6, I turned to learn French last year and I got a score of 463 in TCF. I am preparing for IELTS currently, and if GMAT is necessary for applying master degree in ESSEC, I shall take the test after the IELTS test.
With so much admiration and enthusiasm, I hope I would have the opportunity to work under your supervision. If admitted, I am able to continue working along the lines of your present research. Thanks for your kindness and consideration.

推薦信的注意事項(xiàng)：
1． 推薦人的選擇：申請(qǐng)本科，班主任推薦是必須的，除了班主任之外，需要提供兩位老師的推薦（一個(gè)為文科老師，一個(gè)為理科老師，一般選擇英語(yǔ)和數(shù)學(xué)老師）。注意問(wèn)題：如果有實(shí)習(xí)等經(jīng)歷可以提供實(shí)習(xí)單位推薦，但是一定要有內(nèi)容可寫的，如果只是認(rèn)識(shí)一些名校的校友之類的就不需要提供了。
2． 推薦信的具體內(nèi)容注意事項(xiàng)：A. 一定要從老師的角度出發(fā)，來(lái)考慮這些問(wèn)題。B. 提供實(shí)際的事例。比如：你上課喜歡問(wèn)問(wèn)題，那這種方式是否促進(jìn)了班級(jí)學(xué)習(xí)的積極性，輔助老師更好地教學(xué)增強(qiáng)了學(xué)習(xí)效率呢？有沒(méi)有印象特別深刻的問(wèn)題，體現(xiàn)了學(xué)生那方面的能力？課下是如何和老師聯(lián)系，探討了哪些問(wèn)題，讓老師感受到了你怎么樣的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度，學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)展以及學(xué)習(xí)成果？成績(jī)是班上最好的，除了學(xué)術(shù)成績(jī)以外，你還有什么特別的優(yōu)勢(shì)或者素質(zhì)呢？作為班上成績(jī)最好的學(xué)生，你為老師，為同學(xué)，為班集體做了什么貢獻(xiàn)，比如以你自己的方式影響了同學(xué)，提高了他們的學(xué)習(xí)積極性或者對(duì)課程本身的理解，是通過(guò)哪些特殊的事情體現(xiàn)出來(lái)的？
3． 老師個(gè)人信息的提供：必須提供老師的電話（最好為辦公電話）、郵箱（最好是學(xué)校官方郵箱），教授的科目、認(rèn)識(shí)多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間等信息，網(wǎng)申的'時(shí)候必填的內(nèi)容。
4． 推薦信的提交：推薦信的提交一般分兩種：紙質(zhì)提交（打印出來(lái)，簽字，封到封口處簽字的信封里，給學(xué)校郵寄走）和網(wǎng)上提交（申請(qǐng)表填寫老師郵箱，學(xué)校給老師發(fā)賬號(hào)和密碼，老師網(wǎng)上提交）。越來(lái)越多的學(xué)校選擇后者，所以建議學(xué)生提前把這兩種跟老師說(shuō)好，如果是紙質(zhì)的到時(shí)候讓老師簽字或者咱們代簽就行，如果是網(wǎng)上提交，建議讓老師到時(shí)候把鏈接賬號(hào)和密碼轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)給我們，我們來(lái)提交。
